Thrasher ID - Part 5

Here is the response from another photographer.

"I was at the photo blind at Laguna Atascosa on March 30th [the same day as the original photo] and took a number of pictures of the thrasher that was feeding there. It also sang just in back of the blind. Some of the pictures show all of the field marks and others are good for really mystery bird quizzes.  The light was not so good so there is a little motion in some of them.

"I only saw one thrasher feeding at any time and do not know if the singing bird was the feeder or if members of a pair were alternating. When I was back on April 8, I did not see or hear a thrasher but there was a much greater number of blackbirds that ate most of the food.

This picture shows all of the field marks.

Several while feeding:  image95387463 and image95387466

These pictures concentrate on the rear of the bird feeding away and illustrate the crouching stature while picking up food:  image95387457 and image95387461

Undertail view:  image95387453

And this would be a really hard or impossible photo quiz:  image/95387459

This shot of a bird at an orange was taken at the blind on the 29th:  image/95387327
