GUATEMALA
Well that may be, but our itinerary is already jam packed with birding activities, that we aren't putting Tikal on the regular schedule. Nonetheless, we will be camping right at the Guatemala border, and from there you can book a 2- or 3-day side trip to Tikal, through one of the local hotels.
We've built our schedule to give you time to make the Tikal trip and get back before the next major event. Those of you not going to Tikal will have plenty of birding with our leader as we explore the best sites in the San Ignacio, Belize, area.
