For these tours, our most important considerations in choosing a rental RV are comfort and reliability. This usually correlates with size, features, durability and age of the vehicle. Typically, the RVs we rent are late model Class C turbo diesel vehicles accommodating two to four adults and including double bed, gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, shower, toilet, air-conditioning/heating, pressurized hot & cold water and radio/CD player. Also included are linen, bedding and kitchen equipment.
You can lower the cost of these RV tours by substituting an older or smaller vehicle. Here are three examples:
4-berth Class C model with most of the features of the new models, except several years older and higher odometer mileage
... possible savings of $30 per day (approximate cost savings of $690 per RV on Queensland tour)2-berth Class B model, much smaller inside (typically, table and bed must be rearranged for usage), but fairly new with low mileage
... possible savings of $60 per day (approximate cost savings of $1380 per RV on Queensland tour)2-berth Class B model, much smaller inside (typically, table and bed must be rearranged for usage), older and with high mileage
... possible savings of $90 per day (approximate cost savings of $2070 per RV on Queensland tour)Contact Bert Frenz for details on how we can arrange a less-costly RV rental and reduce your tour price.
